Filipino BC has selected Hungerford Properties as its partner for support in the pre-development and feasibility of establishing the Filipino Community Centre in Vancouver

VANCOUVER, BC, April 26, 2024 - Filipino BC is excited to announce a strategic partnership with Hungerford Properties, a renowned Indigenous and Vancouver-based real estate investment, management and development firm with a passion for creating dynamic and inclusive spaces that enhance communities and enrich lives. Together, they are exploring the feasibility of bringing the Filipino Community Centre to Vancouver.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the journey towards creating a vibrant hub that celebrates Filipino heritage, fosters community engagement and provides essential resources and support to the Filipino diaspora in Vancouver and beyond.

The Filipino Community Centre will serve as a focal point for cultural events, educational programs and social gatherings, offering a welcoming environment where individuals of all backgrounds can come together to connect, learn and celebrate Filipino culture.

We are currently in the early stage planning process towards the establishment of a Filipino Community Centre. Filipino BC and Hungerford Properties are inviting community members, stakeholders and supporters to join them on this journey as they work towards bringing this transformative vision to fruition.
